Christophorus Alfred Sugianto

Christophorus Alfred Sugianto is a multi-talented pianist, composer, arranger, accompanist, and pedagogue based in Indonesia. During his musical journey, he has achieved exceptional accomplishments in his musical career. Besides having won many prestigious piano competitions such as Indonesia Steinway Youth Piano Competition 2016, Musikklasikgram National Online Piano Competition 2020 (senior category), and Asosiasi Guru Piano Bandung 2020, he is also the Museum Rekor Indonesia (MURI) record holder as the youngest organist since the age of 6 and Museum Rekor Indonesia (MURI) record holder as the youngest arranger with MIDI Computer. To deepen his knowledge and understanding of music, in 2018, he entered a bachelor degree at UPH Conservatory of Music, a place where he received a scholarship and passed with cum laude.

To deepen further his musical knowledge, Alfred had also followed various piano masterclasses with great pianists and pedagogues such as Peter Amstutz, Daniel Herscovitch, Andreas Henkel, and Loo Bang Hean.  

In 2023, as a great and committed music educator, Christophorus Alfred Sugianto has been successfully recognized as a Steinway Teacher & Educational Partner (STEP) in Indonesia and still actively teaching and inspiring many national and international students to advance the world of music.
